Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) WWE Drops Storyline
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has officially dropped the romance storyline involving Murphy and Aalyah Mysterio.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
It was just an angle dropped. There’s no backstory or behind-the-scenes story on it. I guess they had no idea where to take it and thus dropped it
My Take:
- I am unhappy with this, only because they have taken Murphy off television. I hope that he is able to find a new role and get back on TV soon.
4) Celebrity Match Scheduled For Wrestlemania 37
According to @Wrestlevotes, a tag team match involving Bad Bunny is currently scheduled for the Wrestlemania 37 card. This is one of only four matches that have been penciled in for the event so far.
Based on previous rumors, it looks like that will be Bad Bunny and Damian Priest vs The Miz and John Morrison.
My Take:
- I think it will be fun. Bad Bunny is a big name in the mainstream and he clearly loves wrestling. I am excited to see him in the ring and will give him a chance.
