Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) WWE Has High Hopes For Female Superstar

According to Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, WWE has signed Millie McKenzie for the NXT UK brand. The company is said to have really high hopes for Millie.

Here is what the site wrote:

talkSPORT understands that WWE has signed Millie McKenzie to the NXT UK brand.

We’re also told WWE has high hopes for McKenzie. She’s set to be plugged in at the top of the card in NXT UK along with fellow recent arrival Meiko Satomura, two women who know each other very well from the independent scene.

My Take:

  • I am definitely excited to see more from her. She is a name to watch out for over the next year or so.

4) WWE Superstars Receiving Social Media Violations

According to a report from Wrestling INC, WWE is starting to issue violations to their Superstars. These come from any social media posts mentioning third-party businesses/ brands etc., that are not approved by WWE.

Here is what the site wrote:

WWE is issuing “violations” to talent for tweets or Instagram posts naming any third party business, person, brand or charity, Wrestling Inc. has learned.

Wrestling Inc. has learned that the violations start with a warning, then a fine, and finally suspension. The company is claiming ownership of talent Twitter and Instagram accounts via a clause in their contracts that grants WWE the exclusive use of their likeness.

It has been made clear to talent who have complained that the current “flexibility” allowed in social media could be retracted by the company.

My Take:

  • This is definitely not going to go over well with fans.
