5) Backstage Reaction To Carlito’s Return To WWE
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, Carlito has received a lot of backstage praise since he returned to WWE.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
There was a lot of internal praise for his work and the shape he returned to the company in at the Rumble.
My Take:
- I have really enjoyed Carlito so far and am excited to see more from him.
4) Brock Lesnar’s Status For Wrestlemania 37
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer spoke about John Cena not attending Wrestlemania 37 due to quarantine issues. Meltzer also noted that this would likely be the same issue for Brock Lesnar, which means that he is very unlikely for the event.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
”While he (Cena) could have previously flown in for the event on a Sunday, he’d have to quarantine for two weeks before working in Canada, which would hold up the production of the series, which would be impossible. This also makes it more difficult to use Lesnar, as he’d also have to quarantine for two weeks before returning home. ”
My Take:
- I am fine with no Brock for right now. I would be shocked though if he doesn’t show up at some point over the next year.
