Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Big Numbers For Sasha Banks vs Bayley
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the match between Sasha Banks and Bayley (on Smackdown) did some big ratings for WWE.
Here is what Meltzer said:
“It was the Bayley and Sasha Banks thing…it was the first half hour that was the most watched portion of WWE television since March. That was the highest rated segment of a WWE show, it topped 2.5 million viewers. First time any segment has done that.”
My Take:
- This isn’t a surprise. Sasha and Bayley always seem to deliver when they face one another.
4) New WWE Signing
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the rumor going around is that Alex Zayne has signed with WWE.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
Most have believed this to be the case, but we were confirmed to that Alex Zayne has signed with WWE which is why he’s leaving the indies.
My Take:
- I don’t know a ton about Zayne but I am excited to learn more about him.
