Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) New Mandatory Meetings For WWE Stars
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is now doing mandatory counseling sessions for Superstars.
This is due to the #SpeakingOut allegations from a few months ago. Here is what Meltzer wrote:
All WWE talent on 10/28 have a mandatory counseling session to attend via streaming on keeping healthy relationships. Total Life Counseling will present a mandatory session for all talent on that subject. The first conference will be the main presentation to all talent and the second zoom link will be for later individual breakout sessions. The second smaller group session is being done to give talent the opportunity to participate and ask questions in a small group
My Take:
- This seems like a good thing to make sure that there are no more incidents. Good move by WWE.
4) More On The Recent Investigation Into WWE
It was reported recently that The Orlando County Department of Public Health was investigating three of WWE’s buildings as potential COVID-19 hotspots.
According to Wrestling INC, it is believed that this investigation came due to some complaints being filed by WWE Performance Center trainees. This comes after previous reports of some talent not feeling safe while training with some “COVID Truthers” on the WWE roster.
Wrestling Inc. learned that it is internally believed that several trainees from the Performance Center and / or NXT talent made formal complaints about daily operations and protocols not being followed.
My Take:
- It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this. My guess would be no but you never know.
