Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Backstage Concern In NXT
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), there are several NXT trainees who are afraid to return to the WWE Performance Center.
Some people have expressed discomfort in returning because of there being several “COVID truthers” on the NXT roster. This refers to people who aren’t taking the COVID-19 pandemic seriously, which has led to the concern.
My Take:
- This definitely sucks to hear. I am sure there are a lot of NXT trainees who don’t want to stay home because they could lose their spot. That makes for a bad situation all around.
4) Backstage Heat On WWE Star
On the ‘WWE Draft Watch Along’, Seth Rollins indicated that he has no interest in facing off against Matt Riddle. Here is what Seth said:
“I’ve got no interest in facing Matt Riddle at any point in my career, so he can go to Raw as far as I’m concerned.”
WrestlingNews.co noted that there may be some heat between Rollins and Riddle over some negative comments that Riddle’s wife made about Becky Lynch on her Instagram:
My Take:
- Riddle seems like he has made a few enemies on the WWE main roster already. It is a shame because Rollins vs Riddle would likely be a really good match.
