Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) WWE Sees Big Things In NXT Star
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE sees a lot of potential in Damian Priest.
Here is what Meltzer said (h/t to Ringside News for the quote):
“They see Priest as someone with a lot of potential, and Gargano was a setup guy to get him there. The match was exactly what it was designed to be. Gargano made him look good and put him over in the end. Priest has something. He’s got the voice and everything.”
My Take:
- Priest has definitely impressed me over the past several months. I am excited to see him face more of the top guys from NXT as I think that he will really shine.
4) Edge’s Return
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Edge’s return from injury is going slower than expected.
While saying that, Edge is still expected to be ready in time for Wrestlemania 37.
My Take:
- Edge vs Randy Orton seems like a no-brainer for Wrestlemania 37. The only question is, will the WWE Championship be on the line? We will have to wait and see.
