5 Mistakes That WWE Should Avoid Making At Payback

Here are some mistakes that WWE should avoid making at Payback.

Mistake #5: Too Many Matches Get Added To The Card/ Too Long Of A Show

One mistake that I think WWE should avoid making at Payback is adding too many matches to the card. Also, I think that it would be a mistake for the PPV to go on for too long.

Summerslam just happened a few days ago and WWE is now asking fans to sit through another PPV a week later. I feel like they are going to be in tough keeping fans’ attention spans if they have a long show with too many matches.

If they keep the show decently short, I think that fans will end up responding to it better. We don’t need 3 extra filler matches added to the card for no reason. Keep it short and I think that fans will be happier.

Mistake #4: Sasha & Bayley Drop The Women’s Tag Team Titles

Sasha Banks and Bayley will be defending their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at Payback against Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. I think that it would be a mistake for Sasha and Bayley to lose their belts here.

I just feel like if they lose their belts, that means WWE is fast-tracking Bayley vs Sasha for an upcoming PPV. This is a storyline that I think WWE should slow-play and save for Wrestlemania 37. Over the next few months, they can tell the story of their relationship slowly deteriorating. If they lose the belts here, it will seem a little rushed (to me at least).

Selfishly, I also want to see Sasha and Bayley face Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott before they drop the belts. I have also enjoyed seeing Bayley and Sasha appear on all three of WWE’s brands over the past few months.

I think that it would be a mistake for them to lose the belts but I might be alone on this one.
