1) I Am Really Digging The New Smackdown Intro
This week’s episode of Smackdown kicked off with several quick promos to hype up the rest of the show. This includes promos from AJ Styles, Big E, The Miz & John Morrison, Naomi, and more.
I can’t lie, I love this new style of intro that has been happening over the past few episodes. It really helps get you hooked for the entire episode.
2) The Pumped In Crowd Noise Was More Noticeable This Week
The first match of the episode was for the Intercontinental Championship. AJ Styles put his belt on the line against Gran Metalik.
During this match, many fans Tweeted about the piped-in crowd noise being more evident than previous weeks. I have to say that I agree as I really noticed it this week.
3) AJ Styles Retained The Intercontinental Championship In A Fun Opening Match
AJ Styles ended up defeating Gran Metalik after a fun match. This came via submission.
As a result, Styles is still our Intercontinental Champion.
