Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Several WWE Stars Want To Work In NXT
According to journalist Tom Colohue, there are several WWE stars who want to work in NXT.
This includes names like Asuka, The New Day, Ricochet, and more. Here is what he said:
Since then, I’ve learnt a lot more names. Asuka being one of them. Cesaro. Naomi has confirmed that she tried to go back to NXT. Members of the New Day have mentioned that they would love to work in NXT. Ricochet, Kevin Owens, Charlotte Flair, and, Sasha Banks and Bayley – who I had mentioned a couple of months ago I believe, as people who really wanted to spend more time in NXT and that is why the tag team championships of the women have been set up as they are. So it could be anyone of those.
My Take:
- I would love to see some of the current Champions come down for Champion vs Champion matches on random episodes. Imagine Adam Cole vs Drew McIntyre, Asuka vs Io Shirai, and more. As long as they don’t go overboard, there are ways to give us fun matches on a weekly basis.
4) Why Bianca Belair Hasn’t Been On RAW
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Bianca Belair didn’t fit in with the recent (comedy) segments between the Street Profits and Viking Raiders.
As a result, WWE has kept Bianca off television because the creative team has had nothing else for her.
My Take:
- I am a big Bianca fan and I would like to see her get pushed. I don’t mind that they kept her out of the Viking Profits stuff but they need to start building her up on RAW. The show is three hours and they surely can find space for her.
