There has been a longstanding rumor that The Undertaker is terrified of cucumbers. This is something that has been floating around the wrestling rumor mill for many years.
On the Pardon My Take podcast, The Undertaker was asked about these rumors. Here is what ‘Taker said in response:
“OK, let’s get this straight. We’ve had a good conversation. I’m not scared of cucumbers. I just don’t like cucumbers.”
The host joked that he likes the idea of one of the biggest badasses of all time becoming like a little kid if you bring a cucumber into the room. The Undertaker responded by saying:
“I’ll probably leave the room. I’m not gonna run. If they’re whole, that’s one thing. If they’re cut up, whew.”
The host joked that ‘The Cucumber Man’ should have been the one to beat him at Wrestlemania. Here is what The Undertaker said:
“People would have bought that a lot more if I slipped on a cucumber. Man, the hair on my neck is starting to stand up.”
