News broke recently that the mayor of Boston has canceled all events in the city until September. Since Summerslam was originally scheduled for August in Boston, this has led to many questions about the status of the event.

According to the account, WWE wants to keep the event in Boston. While saying that, they are actively searching for a new location, where they can have the event with fans.
The account notes that the new location will likely be somewhere in the Southern United States and it could end up getting pushed back to September:
