Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) WWE Not Giving Up On Superstars’ Push
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer briefly touched on the status of Riddick Moss. Moss was being used on RAW for a few weeks (mostly with Mojo Rawley) but he hasn’t been seen in a while.
Meltzer says that despite him being off television right now, WWE has not given up on Moss.
Add Riddick Moss to the list of guys who have disappeared with the new normal. His not being there is not indicative that they’ve given up on him
My Take:
- Maybe Moss can join the new heel faction that MVP is starting? He seems like a guy that would be better in a faction than by himself.
4) Jinder Mahal’s Future
According to journalist Tom Colohue, Jinder Mahal is going to receive a decent push over the next several months.
This is mainly because of WWE’s new television deal in India. Here is what Colohue said:
It won’t be easy for Jinder Mahal to get back to the level he was previous. Really, there are ways to do it. He gets such tremendous heat just by being pushed that all they need to do is push him and people will push him as a heel anyway. But without a crowd booing him it might be quite difficult because people may look at him slightly differently.
That said, there is a huge new TV deal that WWE have going on in India and they want to push someone who appeals to that market. So Jinder Mahal, whether he is getting championship opportunities or not, he is definitely going to be pushed hard.
My Take:
- I definitely see WWE doing Jinder Mahal vs Drew McIntyre at some point. It works from a heel-babyface dynamic. Plus, they have a history with one another based on their time together in 3MB.
