Here are some mistakes that WWE should avoid making at the 2020 Money in the Bank PPV.
5) Lucha House Party Or The Forgotten Sons Take The Pin In The Smackdown Tag Team Title Match
WWE has confirmed a fatal 4-way match for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles at Money in the Bank. It will be The New Day vs The Forgotten Sons vs Lucha House Party vs John Morrison & The Miz. I think that it would be a mistake for either Lucha House Party or The Forgotten Sons to take the pin during this match.
With The Usos injured, WWE is going to need The Forgotten Sons and Lucha House Party to step up in the tag team division. I have liked what I have seen from both teams over the past few weeks and I think that they are doing a solid job filling it. Both teams need the credibility right now, so I think it would be a bad look for either of them to take the pinfall loss during the match. John Morrison & The Miz or The New Day can both afford to lose here, so I would much rather see them taking the pin.
I am not saying that either team has to win the belts. I just think that WWE should protect them from taking the pin. This will help give them a bit more credibility, which could help the Smackdown tag team division in the long run.
4) Bayley vs Tamina Goes For More Than 10 Minutes
WWE has confirmed that Bayley will be defending her Smackdown Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank against Tamina. I think that it would be a mistake for this match to go longer than like 10 minutes.
If I am being honest, I am not the biggest fan of Tamina as a worker. I just don’t think that fans will be interested in watching her wrestle for more than 10 minutes. Mix in that there will be no crowd in attendance and I think WWE will be in danger of losing fan interest if it goes for too long.
If it was up to me, I would have the match go less than 10 minutes. Have a few spots in there for Tamina to look strong but this is a match that doesn’t need to drag on. This might seem a bit harsh on Tamina but I think it is in everyone’s best interest to keep this one short and sweet.
