Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) The Plans For Wrestlemania 37
Triple H recently made some comments where he said that he would prefer Wrestlemania to stay as a two-night event. These comments have gotten fans wondering about what WWE will do for Wrestlemania 37.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the current plan is for WWE to go back to the one night format next year:
As of right now, the plan for next year is just a Sunday show in Los Angeles
My Take:
- Personally, I feel that it should move to two nights as I think the one night format is too draining. Do we really need to watch 7 and a half hours in one sitting?
4) Update On If WWE Stars Are Wearing Masks At The Performance Center
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select (subscribe here), almost no wrestlers have been wearing masks while working the recent WWE tapings.
On the other hand, Sapp says that about 80 percent of other staff members are wearing masks while at the WWE Performance Center:
Based on talent we’ve heard from, almost no talent have been wearing masks around at the WWE tapings, and about 80 percent of staff is.
My Take:
- I am a bit surprised that none of the wrestlers are wearing masks in the backstage area. They obviously aren’t going to wear them for their matches but you would think there would be a few of them wearing them while in the backstage area/ locker room.
