AJ Styles Takes Issue With Fans Who Complain About WWE Being ‘Essential’ But Also Complain About Them Releasing People

AJ Styles recently took to his Mixer account to discuss the recent releases of WWE Superstars. That includes Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, who Styles said that he is “devastated” about.

Styles ended up taking issue with people who complain that WWE is considered ‘essential’ but also complain that WWE is releasing Superstars.

Here is what he said (h/t to WrestlingNews.co for the quotes below):

“With the talk of WWE being essential television – I don’t know whether it is or it isn’t but I know that I’m glad to be able to entertain. I’m glad I’m still able to do my job, I still want to be able to do that. I don’t understand people who complain about it and then go and bury the company for releasing people. You can’t have both. We’ve got to be able to work and if you don’t work, your business can’t make money so you got to be able to do that. I want to be able to work and I know that there’s risks involved and I gotta do whatever I can to make sure I hopefully don’t contract the coronavirus.

I don’t know. It’s hard to say but there’s so many things going on and so many different things out there on what the coronavirus is. You don’t know what to believe any more, you don’t know who to trust. It’s just so bizarre right now.”
