Here are some of our predictions for this week’s episode of Smackdown.
7) Alexa Bliss vs Asuka Will End In A DQ
WWE has officially confirmed a match for Smackdown this week. It will be Alexa Bliss vs Asuka.
This match will presumably set up Alexa and Nikki Cross vs Asuka and Kairi Sane at Wrestlemania 36. As a result, I think that the match on Smackdown is going to end in a disqualification.
Kairi will likely interfere to attack Alexa. This will lead to Nikki jumping in and both teams brawling. This seems like an easy way to set up the Women’s Tag Team Title match at Wrestlemania 36.
6) Drew Gulak Will Defeat Shinsuke Nakamura
WWE has officially confirmed a match between Drew Gulak and Shinsuke Nakamura for the episode this week. If Gulak wins, Daniel Bryan will get an Intercontinental Title match at Wrestlemania 36 against Sami Zayn.
This should be a fun match. I am a fan of both guys and I am excited to see what they can do together.
I definitely see Gulak winning. Daniel Bryan vs Sami Zayn is a great idea for Wrestlemania and I hope that it happens.
5) Otis vs Dolph Ziggler Will Get Confirmed For Wrestlemania 36
The love triangle involving Dolph Ziggler, Mandy Rose, and Otis has been going on for a few months now. The rumor is that this is leading towards a match between Dolph and Otis at Wrestlemania 36.
I think that WWE will officially confirm that match on Smackdown this week.
I could also see Mandy Rose being named as the special guest referee but we will have to wait and see on that one.
