Wrestlemania will be taking place over two nights for the first time ever. Wrestlemania 36 will be held on Saturday, April 4th and Sunday, April 5th.
We have some news to pass your way about two matches that are being scrapped from the card this year.
According to John Pollock of POST Wrestling, WWE is scrapping the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal this year.
Pollock also says that WWE is scrapping the Wrestlemania Women’s Battle Royal. Here is what he wrote:
One source with knowledge of the situation tells POST Wrestling that the only changes to the WrestleMania card are the elimination of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and the women’s battle royal. The other matches are set to go ahead and will be spread out over the two nights, with some yet to be announced matches on television.
The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal has been a staple of the Wrestlemania card for several years now. WWE introduced the Women’s Battle Royal two years ago.
