Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) RAW Stars Joining NXT?
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, The IIconics were backstage at this week’s episode of NXT:
The IIconics, Billie Kaye and Peyton Royce, are backstage at tonight’s WWE NXT taping.
This has led to some speculation that they could be joining NXT after not being used for a few months on RAW.
My Take:
- Personally, I would like to see WWE improve their Women’s tag team booking across all brands. The IIconics are entertaining and WWE should find a way to use them more. My gut says they were just visiting but you never know.
4) Vince McMahon Ripped Up The RAW Script
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, Vince McMahon ripped up the script for RAW when he showed up and re-wrote most of the show.
Here is what Alvarez said:
“I don’t know everything that happened on Monday but I do know that this guy showed up and he changed everything again. Apparently, it was worse than usual and if you watched the show, the show was worse than usual.”
My Take:
- I thought that the first segment with Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar was really strong. I also thought that the closing segment with Randy Orton and Beth Phoenix was really strong. The rest of the show was decent but those two parts really stuck out.
