WWE Releases Statement On Wrestlemania 36 Amid Coronavirus Concerns

The coronavirus has been making headlines across the world over the past several weeks. Over the past few days, there have been some fans wondering if WWE will be canceling Wrestlemania 36. This comes after recent news broke about some coronavirus cases being discovered in Tampa Bay, which is the host city of Wrestlemania 36.

WWE has released a new statement to ESPN after being asked if they are planning to cancel the event.

Here is what they issued:

“The health and safety of our fans, performers and employees are our top priorities and we are monitoring the situation closely with our partners and government officials in Tampa Bay.

We remain committed to hosting WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5, and like other entertainment properties in the U.S., there are currently no plans to cancel or postpone our upcoming events.”

We will let you know if we hear anything more.
