Here are some of our predictions for this week’s episode of Smackdown.
7) Daniel Bryan Will Defeat Shorty G
Last week on Smackdown, a pissed off Daniel Bryan defeated Heath Slater. It seems like WWE is telling the story that Bryan’s recent feud with The Fiend has changed him.
I am going to predict that Daniel faces off against Shorty G on the episode this week. I could see them getting into an argument backstage or something like that to spark the match.
This would be a fun match and it would give Bryan something to do since he will likely be in limbo until the Elimination Chamber PPV.
6) Braun Strowman vs Shinsuke Nakamura Will Get Officially Confirmed For WWE Super Showdown
Braun Strowman recently won the Intercontinental Championship from Shinsuke Nakamura. Since they are still feuding, I think that a rematch will be coming soon.
My guess is that on Smackdown, WWE officially confirms Braun vs Shinsuke for the Super Showdown PPV.
With that PPV coming up soon, it would make sense to officially confirm this match for the card.
5) A Heel Will Crash Otis’ Date With Mandy Rose
WWE has confirmed that Otis and Mandy Rose will be going on a date for Valentine’s Day during the episode this week.
I expect something to happen during the episode to disrupt this date. My guess is that one of WWE’s heels will interrupt and attacks Otis. This could lead to a match between Otis and his attacker on the episode.
Either way, I don’t see the date going down smoothly.
