Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) AJ Styles’ Status For Wrestlemania 36
News broke after the Royal Rumble that AJ Styles has suffered a separated shoulder. This has caused some fear among fans that Styles will be missing a significant amount of time.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the hope within WWE is that Styles will be able to return prior to Wrestlemania 36.
My Take:
- I have separated my shoulder before and it is really painful. Depending on what grade it is, I totally agree that Styles could be back before Wrestlemania 36. Let’s all hope for the best because I definitely want to see Styles compete at the event like I am sure that most of us do.
4) The Backstage Reaction To The Edge & Randy Orton Segment On RAW
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select (subscribe here), has provided some news on the backstage reaction to the segment involving Edge and Randy Orton on RAW this week.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
We were told that many backstage considered Orton and Edge’s segment at the close of Raw to be a “home run.” Also, USA Network granted WWE a short overrun earlier in the day
My Take:
- This really was a home run segment. Orton had so much heat on him for what he did and fans are now invested in seeing them wrestle again. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
