This is something that WWE started at the 2019 Royal Rumble, which was held at Chase Field in Phoenix.

2) Sheamus Defeated Shorty G On The Kickoff Show

The kickoff show for the Royal Rumble featured a match between Sheamus and Shorty G.

3) Tom Phillips Replaced Vic Joseph On Commentary

Tom Phillips ended up calling the RAW matches at the event alongside Jerry Lawler.

Phillips replaced Vic Joseph, who is usually the lead guy on the RAW commentary team. It is unclear why this change was made.
