Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline has provided some backstage notes from the TLC PPV that took place on Sunday night. Below are some of the highlights.
— Meltzer says that Kairi Sane’s injury status has been kept quiet by WWE. She wasn’t cleared for RAW this week and there is talk that she suffered a concussion.
— Meltzer says the talk backstage is that Kairi’s injury was “handled poorly” by WWE.
— Vince McMahon and Triple H were not backstage for the PPV. Here is what Meltzer wrote about how the PPV was produced:
Neither Vince McMahon nor Paul Levesque were in Minneapolis yesterday. They were conferenced in on the meeting and the show was put together the way Vince wanted it to. but he was not in Gorilla nor producing the announcers during the show. We were told that Paul Heyman was in charge of the Raw matches (which would include the main event) and Bruce Prichard in charge of Smackdown matches.
— Aleister Black appeared to suffer a broken nose during TLC but he is cleared to wrestle and won’t miss any time.
