News broke on Sunday that WWE had released four Superstars from the company. Those Superstars were Sin Cara, Luke Harper, Viktor, and Konnor.
On Fightful Select (subscribe here), Sean Ross Sapp has provided some information on the backstage reaction to these releases.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
In asking around backstage about Luke Harper, Viktor, Konnor and Sin Cara all getting released from the company, the feeling was that of relief for them.
One person on the roster said that they believe that all had asked for it, so they were happy for the quartet of wrestlers.
It is unclear what the future will have in store for these guys moving forward. A safe guess is that they will have 90-day, no-compete clauses, which we have seen in the past.
