Here is a list of WWE stars who could return at Survivor Series. Not all of them will happen but these are guys and girls who are close to returning from injury or would make sense from a storyline perspective.
10) Dio Maddin
We have to start this list with one of the recent victims of Brock Lesnar. Dio Maddin was attacked by Brock on RAW after standing up for Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler. For his efforts, Maddin ended up taking an F5 from Brock and he hasn’t appeared on RAW commentary since it happened.
There are two ways that this can go. Maddin could return to the RAW commentary team at Survivor Series. He could give his perspective on taking the F5 from Brock and give first-hand experience on how much the move hurts. Or, Maddin could try to confront Brock again during his match against Rey Mysterio. The latter seems less likely though as I am sure that he learned his lesson.
Either way, we could see Dio Maddin back at Survivor Series. It has been a few weeks and he should be recovered from that F5 by now.
9) Dominik
In a similar vein to what I said about Dio Maddin, Dominik could also make his return during Survivor Series. Dominik was brutally attacked by Brock Lesnar a few weeks ago backstage. This attack was used to fuel the storyline between Brock and Rey Mysterio.
It would be some poetic justice if Dominik was able to return and help Rey win the WWE Championship from Brock. Dominik could distract Brock, which would allow Rey to take advantage. Or, Dominik could simply show up at Survivor Series to celebrate with his dad after he wins the WWE Title.
Regardless, I could see Dominik returning at Survivor Series in some form.
8) Sheamus
Sheamus is an interesting one. He has battled various health issues over the past few years, including spinal stenosis. He was rumored for a return during the WWE Draft but didn’t end up getting assigned to a brand. Sheamus has not officially retired so a return is still possible.
Maybe Sheamus joins up with his former tag team partner Cesaro during Survivor Series? That could be an interesting way to bring him back. Sheamus and Cesaro could take out The New Day, setting them up to be the next challengers for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships.
I am not sure about Sheamus but I could see him possibly coming back during this event.
