As noted prior, Friday’s Smackdown episode on FS1 drew just 888,000 viewers. This came after the show was moved from FOX due to the World Series.
We have a rumor to pass your way about how WWE was expecting the episode to do on FS1.
According to @Wrestlevotes, WWE expected the show to hit similar numbers to when it was still on the USA Network:
For those wondering, the final Smackdown episode on the USA Network (September 24th) drew 2.099 million viewers. The episode prior (September 17th) drew 2.066 million views. If this rumor is true, they were expecting more than a million viewers for the episode this week.
