Here are some of our predictions for this week’s episode of Smackdown.
7) Several Smackdown Stars Will Be Confirmed For The Battle Royal At Crown Jewel
WWE has confirmed a 20-man Battle Royal for WWE Crown Jewel. The winner will earn a United States Championship match later that same night.
On Smackdown this week, my guess is that we will see a handful of Smackdown Superstars get confirmed for the Battle Royal.
This will likely include a bunch of midcard guys like Drew Gulak, Apollo Crews, Luke Harper, and more.
6) Robert Roode And Dolph Ziggler Will Defeat The New Day
WWE has confirmed a tag team match for the episode this week. It will be Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler vs The New Day.
My guess is that Roode and Ziggler are going to pick up the win. My logic is that The New Day got the win last week, so this week it is Roode and Ziggler’s turn.
It would be silly to have Roode and Ziggler lose two straight matches heading into the tag team turmoil match at Crown Jewel. I think that they will cheat to win to gain some momentum before the PPV.
5) Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, and Shorty G Will Face King Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Sami Zayn
I am going to predict that we are going to see a 6-man tag team match on the episode. I think that it will be Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, and Shorty G vs King Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Sami Zayn.
This would make sense as Shorty G and Roman Reigns will both be members of Team Hulk Hogan at Crown Jewel. Nakamura and Corbin will be members of Team Ric Flair.
Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn are rumored to not be wrestling at Crown Jewel, so they are just extra additions to this match that would make sense based on current feuds.
