5 Female Superstars Who Are Candidates For Induction Into The 2020 WWE Hall of Fame

I wanted to put together a list of some female WWE stars who are candidates to go into the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class. Here is who I think could be going in as the next female inductee.

5) Chyna

I can’t have this list without mentioning Chyna. She will remain a top candidate for the Hall of Fame until WWE finally decides to pull the trigger on it.

If it wasn’t for her adult film career, Chyna would already be in the Hall of Fame. She had an incredible career and was a trailblazer for all women in WWE. I don’t think that you will find anybody who would argue against Chyna being worthy from an accomplishment standpoint.

In an interview with ESPN, Triple H noted that there are some “complexities” surrounding Chyna going into the Hall of Fame as a solo act. Here is what he said:

“Look, people believe what they want to believe. When I said a few years ago on the Austin podcast, or show, or whatever you want to call it, there’s complexities around it. But absolutely, definitely deserves to be in there. It’d be tough to pick a female that was more impactful on the business. She did something that was completely so out of left field that it wasn’t even being considered when we first brought it up for her to come in. It wasn’t even a consideration … it wasn’t an easy thing, and against all odds she did all of that. She earned everybody’s trust, she won over the fans, she won over the boys. She did all of it.

From that standpoint, absolutely 100 percent deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, and should probably be more than once — as a group, but individually as well. There’s more complexity to that than meets the eye, but here we are. I’m just happy that it’s here. I’m happy for her family, the people that she was close to, that hopefully this is super-meaningful to them. I know it would be to her. It’s a great thing — very deserving.”

Since Chyna was inducted in 2019 as a member of D-Generation X, I don’t have her as a top candidate for 2020. I think that it will eventually happen but in a few year’s time. Still, I can’t have this list without mentioning Chyna.

4) Melina

I think that Melina is a candidate for the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class.

Melina had a solid career in WWE, winning the Women’s Championship three times and the Divas Championship twice. She also spent a few years as the manager of the tag team, ‘MNM’.

Melina made a recent WWE appearance during the RAW Reunion special. This was her first WWE appearance since leaving the company in 2011. That tells me the door is at least open between Melina and WWE for this induction to happen.

I think that Melina would be a solid addition to the WWE Hall of Fame. I am sure that it will eventually happen at some point.
