The Undertaker wrestling at the upcoming Crown Jewel event has been a rumor for a while now. This is because he has been doing a ton of promotional work for the event in Saudi Arabia. He has also wrestled at every WWE event in Saudi Arabia over the past few years.
We have an update for you.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), the Deadman won’t be wrestling. Here is what he wrote:
Even though Undertaker was used in the first announcement for the show and he’s been a key part of the previous shows, neither he nor Bill Goldberg at this point are slated to be on the show, likely with the idea it makes no sense to have other outside attractions when you already have Velasquez and Fury.
My Take: Even though he won’t be on the card, I could still see the Undertaker making an appearance. After all of the promotional work that he has done, I could see him appearing during Crown Jewel and delivering a quick chokeslam to someone. Something to pop the crowd in attendance.
