The 2019 WWE Draft is officially in the books and the rosters for RAW and Smackdown are now set. Here are some matches involving the RAW roster to look forward to. Note: My only stipulation is that the match couldn’t have happened in WWE already. That is why a match like Becky Lynch vs Asuka is not on this list.
7) Ricochet vs Buddy Murphy
From a purely in-ring standpoint, Ricochet vs Buddy Murphy seems like it has a chance to be pretty special.
Both are two of the most fun guys to watch on the current WWE roster and I think that they would be able to put on a really fun match if given the chance.
I could see this happening on an upcoming episode of RAW. I wouldn’t even mind if this was turned into a feud for the United States Championship down the road. Either way, I am looking forward to seeing them face off at some point. A safe guess is that they would put on a really good match.
6) Charlotte Flair vs Kairi Sane
Charlotte Flair and Asuka have put on some fun matches against one another. That includes a really strong match at Wrestlemania 34. With Asuka and Kairi Sane moving over to RAW, I am now really excited to see some matches between Charlotte and Kairi.
Charlotte gets a lot of flack for her 100 title reigns but she always seems to deliver strong performances in the ring. I love watching Charlotte perform and I think that she and Kairi could put on some fun matches.
This is definitely a feud that I see happening within the next few months. Looking at the new RAW women’s division, this is one of the matches that I am most looking forward to.
5) Ricochet vs Seth Rollins
Ricochet vs Seth Rollins is a match that I have always wanted to see and I have to include it on my list. I just think that they could put on a really good match against one another if given the chance.
This could make for a fun Universal Title feud over the next few months. The rumor mill suggests that Ricochet could be a guy who gets pushed by Paul Heyman on RAW. If that happens, I don’t think that a feud between Seth and Ricochet is out of the question.
This would be even better if WWE decides to turn Seth Rollins heel at some point. Either way, I want to see Seth vs Ricochet happen.
