Here are some of our predictions for this week’s episode of Smackdown.
7) The Feud Between The New Day And The Revival Will Continue
The Revival defeated the New Day at Clash of Champions to win the Smackdown Tag Team Titles. I think that this feud is far from over.
My guess is that we are going to see a rematch between these two teams at Hell in a Cell. The Smackdown tag team division is really weak and there aren’t many other options for WWE.
I say that the feud between these two teams will continue on Smackdown this week.
6) Shinsuke Nakamura Will Defeat The Miz
Shinsuke Nakamura defeated the Miz at Clash of Champions. This came after Sami Zayn provided multiple distractions.
My guess is that the Miz will get a rematch against Nakamura on the episode. This time, I see Nakamura winning clean.
My gut says that the Miz will be written off WWE television soon. Maryse is going to be having her baby at anytime now and I think WWE will give the Miz some time off. As a result, it would make sense for the Miz to lose to Nakamura, writing him off television for a while.
5) Bayley And Charlotte Flair Will Get Into A Big Brawl
Bayley retained her Smackdown Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions. This came after she cheated to defeat Charlotte Flair.
My guess is that we are going to see these two face off at Hell in a Cell. As a result, WWE needs to generate some fan interest in this feud.
I say that Charlotte and Bayley should get into a massive brawl on the episode this week. This will get fans a bit more excited about their rematch at Hell in a Cell.
