The second round of the King of the Ring tournament will feature Elias vs Ali. Elias was able to defeat Kevin Owens to make it to this round. Ali defeated Buddy Murphy in a fun match to advance to this point.
I wanted to pass along my speculation on what I think will happen in this match and what will happen afterward.
Let’s start with the match quality. I think that it will be a decent match. It probably won’t be one of the best matches of the tournament but it should be solid.
I am going with Ali winning the match and moving on to the semi-finals of the tournament. Ali needs this win much more than Elias, in my opinion. Plus, I have the winner of this match facing Andrade in the semi-finals. Ali vs Andrade would fit much better from a heel-babyface standpoint. It would also be a much better match.
If Ali does win, I think that he is going to lose in the next round. Andrade is my pick to represent Smackdown in the King of the Ring final at Clash of Champions. As a result, my early guess is that Andrade beats Ali in the semi-finals (if that match does happen).
