Speculation On The Plans For Roman Reigns At Clash Of Champions

On Smackdown this week, Erick Rowan was officially revealed as the mystery attacker of Roman Reigns. Daniel Bryan was disgusted with Rowan and tried to tell Reigns that he was not involved. This led to Reigns spearing Bryan to close the episode.

Many fans are now suggesting that we will be getting Bryan vs Reigns at Clash of Champions but I don’t think that will be the case. My gut says that WWE will be saving Bryan vs Reigns for the Hell in a Cell PPV.

I wanted to pass along my speculation about what I think Reigns will be doing at Clash of Champions (if it isn’t a singles match against Bryan).

My guess is that some new footage will come out (next week) which will show that Daniel Bryan was involved in the original attack on Roman Reigns. I think that Bryan pleading his innocence to Reigns was just another mind game that Bryan was playing. On the episode next week, I think that Bryan and Rowan will attack Reigns.

My prediction is that it will be Roman Reigns and a partner against Erick Rowan and Daniel Bryan at Clash of Champions. Based on the current storyline, it makes sense that Reigns would want to get his hands on both Rowan and Bryan. Plus, a tag team match allows WWE to not rush into a Bryan vs Reigns singles match.

If a tag team match is happening, Reigns’ partner will likely be Buddy Murphy. This would make sense since Buddy pinned Daniel Bryan on Smackdown recently. Bryan and Rowan have also been picking on Murphy for a few weeks now, so it would make sense for him to want to help out Reigns.

That would give us Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan vs Buddy Murphy and Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions. WWE could then follow that up by doing Daniel Bryan vs Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell.
