Bray Wyatt officially debuted his new character, ‘The Fiend’ at Summerslam. He ended up defeating Finn Balor at the event. After it was over, Bray and his new character were heavily praised by fans.
We have a rumor to pass your way about the future of ‘The Fiend’ character.
According to Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda, the character could be toned down a little bit by WWE.
The article suggests that there were some children in the crowd at Summerslam who were scared of Bray’s new character. As a result, it could lead to WWE changing things up a bit. Here is what a source told Colohue about ‘The Fiend”:
“They want a happy medium. This is something special but it needs to be special without scaring half the audience away.”
“Bray should have been on TV to follow up after SummerSlam but there was an argument over what Bray should appear…changes might need to be made to get a character everyone is happy with.”
The report also suggests that Bray’s segments might be saved for later in the shows to make sure that some of the younger audience doesn’t see it.
