Stipulation Announced For Summerslam

Summerslam will be taking place this Sunday night in Toronto. The event will feature Kofi Kingston vs Randy Orton, Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar, and more.

WWE has also now officially confirmed a stipulation match for the event.

Becky Lynch vs Natalya for the RAW Women’s Championship is now officially a submission match. Here is what WWE wrote about the stipulation on their website:

As first reported by Postmedia of Canada, the Raw Women’s Championship Match between Becky Lynch and Natalya at SummerSlam will now officially be a Submission Match.

One day after Becky teamed with Seth Rollins and thwarted the challenge of Lacey Evans and her partner Baron Corbin in an Extreme Rules Winners Take All Mixed Tag Team bout, a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match took place on Raw to determine who will challenge The Man for the Raw Women’s Title at SummerSlam. When the dust cleared on that hard-fought contest, Natalya had outlasted Naomi, Alexa Bliss and Carmella to earn the right to try and unseat Lynch at The Biggest Event of the Summer.

Natalya is a third-generation Superstar who trained in the infamous Hart Dungeon. She has the scars from battle and an arsenal that includes the Sharpshooter, one of the most excruciating submission holds in the game. However, Lynch also lay claims to a tip-top submission, the Dis-Arm-Her. Hostility over which hold is more effective quickly riled up between the two Superstars, leading to several hostile altercations and, ultimately, it leading to their title showdown becoming a Submission Match for the ages at The Biggest Event of the Summer.

So, will Natalya’s experience and legendary training be enough to counteract the effects of Straight Fire? Or, will The Man make The Queen of Harts tap in front of her own countrymen and women in Canada?
