Here is what we learned from this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
1) RAW Has Started With A Match For Two Weeks In A Row!
RAW this week kicked off with the mixed tag team match. It was Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins vs Andrade and Zelina Vega.
The key part of this is that RAW has now kicked off with a match for two weeks in a row. WWE fans have been complaining for a while now about RAW always opening up with a 20-minute promo segment. It looks like WWE is changing things up.
2) I Want A Singles Feud Between Andrade And Seth Rollins
The mixed tag team match that opened RAW gave us a glimpse into what a program between Andrade and Seth Rollins would be like.
I would love to see more from these two. Could be an amazing feud for the Universal Championship down the road.
3) The Mixed Elimination Match Was Confusing
The mixed elimination match was confusing as hell. Zelina Vega lost to Becky Lynch, which meant that Zelina was eliminated from the match.
Due to WWE’s rules about intergender wrestling, that also meant Becky was technically eliminated from the match. She wasn’t able to tag in to wrestle Andrade, so she had to stand on the apron. That was a dumb concept.
