5 Reasons Why The Undertaker Teaming With Roman Reigns Is A Good Idea

The Undertaker and Roman Reigns will be teaming together at WWE Extreme Rules. They will be facing off against Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon. Here are 5 reasons why the Undertaker teaming up with Roman is a good thing.

5) It Gives The Undertaker A Chance To Put WWE Super Showdown Behind Him

WWE Super Showdown was a disaster. Specifically, the Undertaker’s match against Goldberg was bad and it deserves all of the criticism that it has been receiving from fans.

While saying that, if there is one person in WWE who deserves a chance at redemption, it is the Undertaker. The guy has done so much for the company over the past two decades and he deserves a chance to put that match behind him.

This tag team match allows for the Undertaker to quickly move on from the disaster that was WWE Super Showdown. I know that some fans want the Undertaker to retire but I am glad that he is not ending his career on a sour note.

If the match is half-decent at Extreme Rules, fans will stop complaining about his match against Goldberg.

4) It Provides Extreme Rules With A Special Attraction Match

Extreme Rules isn’t considered as one of the big WWE PPV events of the year. That is typically reserved for events like Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, and even Money in the Bank. With the Undertaker’s return, WWE has now provided the Extreme Rules card with special attraction match that we wouldn’t usually get at a PPV like this.

Say what you want about the Undertaker but his matches are always special attractions. Him being on the card instantly makes the Extreme Rules PPV feel like a bigger deal.

You also have to take into account the impact that this will have on casual fans. You might hate to see the Undertaker and Roman teaming together but I am sure that it is a big selling point for younger fans.
