Here is what we learned from Smackdown
1) Big E Returned After A 6-Week Absence!
This week’s episode of Smackdown Live kicked off with the New Day. The segment saw Big E make his return to WWE television. He has been out with an injury for the past 6 weeks.
Good to see Big E back! He isn’t medically cleared to wrestle but at least the New Day is back together as a group.
2) I Hope WWE Keeps Sami Zayn And Kevin Owens Together
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn ended up interrupting the New Day during the opening segment.
I am on the train of people who wants WWE to keep Sami and Kevin together as a duo for the long-term. I think that they would be great tag team Champions and I love them together.
3) Ali & Andrade Put On A Fun Match
The opening match of Smackdown was between Ali and Andrade. This turned out to be a really fun match.
Props to both guys for putting on a match like this just two days after the Money in the Bank ladder match.
