More Details On WWE Making Changes To The Third Hour Of RAW

Mick Foley unveiled the new 24/7 Championship on RAW this week during the start of the third hour. Foley teased that the third hour would be getting more “RAW” moving forward.

The third hour also featured an aesthetic change from the rest of the show. The lights were lowered and the arena was noticeably darker for the final hour of the program.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful provided a few more details about what is going on. He also added some clarity on what Foley meant by saying that things would be getting more “RAW”.

However, we’re told that the comment was made more to set the stage in differentiating the third hour from the rest of the show, with a unique look. This will also apply to some of the graphics you see moving forward. More “Raw” was the buzzword that was presented to Fightful when we asked around about the changes.

One backstage source said this was another matter of the company throwing something at the wall and hoping it would stick.
