During the Money in the Bank PPV, it was revealed that Mick Foley will be appearing on RAW this week. Not only that, he will be unveiling a new Title belt.
We didn’t get any details, just that Foley will be unveiling “WWE’s newest Title”.
I wanted to share my thoughts on what the new Title belt will be.
A lot of fans immediately suggested that the Hardcore Title could be returning. This is mostly because it is Mick Foley who is making the announcement.
I agree with these fans. I think that it is probably going to be a Hardcore Title (or some sort of variation) that is able to be defended on all brands. With ratings dropping as of late, this seems to be WWE’s way to try and make things more unpredictable.
If it is not a Hardcore Title, I could see WWE doing some sort of ‘Wildcard Title’ that is able to be defended on all brands in WWE.
