We have some backstage notes to pass your way from tonight’s Money in the Bank PPV. These come via Mike Johnson of PWInsider.
— According to Johnson, Big E is backstage at the PPV for the first time since his injury. This could be a potential hint that he will be making an appearance at the PPV tonight.
— The current plan is for the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match to open the show. This coincides with the rumor from earlier that suggested the same thing.
— There was talk over the past few days about adding the IIconics vs the Kabuki Warriors to the kickoff show tonight. It doesn’t look like that is going to happen anymore but it was something that has been discussed.
— There was also some talk over the past few days about a potential appearance from Hulk Hogan on the PPV. Hogan is currently in the area filming some stuff for the next WWE video game. Johnson says that nobody backstage has seen Hogan today though.
We will let you know if we hear anything more before the PPV starts.
