Here are some mistakes that I think WWE should avoid making at Money in the Bank.
7) Shane McMahon vs The Miz Goes On For Too Long
I was a fan of the match between Shane McMahon and the Miz at Wrestlemania 35. It was definitely way better than I was expecting and it turned into a fun match.
While saying that, I don’t think their cage match needs to be super long at Money in the Bank. We are already going to have two lengthy ladder matches on the show. Plus, I am hoping that AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins gets a solid amount of time. As a result, I am thinking that the Miz vs Shane is a match that WWE can keep relatively short.
I feel like fans will get bored with a 20-minute cage match between these two. Keep it 12 to 15 minutes and keep the show rolling.
In my opinion, it would be a mistake for the cage match to go for too long. The crowd will end up getting burned out by the end of the show, which is not what you want.
6) Charlotte Flair Defeats Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch is going to be in tough at Money in the Bank. She will be facing Lacey Evans for her RAW Women’s Championship. She will also be facing Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
I think Becky will defeat Lacey in her first match of the night. This will leave her at less than 100% heading into her match against Charlotte. I think that it would be a mistake for Becky to lose to Charlotte here.
To me, I don’t have interest in any more Becky vs Charlotte stuff right now. If Becky loses her belt to Charlotte, this could potentially lead to another feud between them. I am a little burnt out from their feud and I would rather something else.
Instead, I would have someone cash-in during the Charlotte-Becky match to steal the Smackdown Women’s Title. This protects both Charlotte and Becky. It also allows Becky to feud with someone new, other than Charlotte.
I think Charlotte winning the Title from Becky will leave a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths. Let’s give someone else a chance if Becky will be dropping one of her belts.
