On RAW this week, WWE confirmed 4 names for the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. It will be Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman, and Ricochet competing from the red brand.
I wanted to share my speculation on who will be the four Smackdown participants in the match.
Let’s start with who I think are locks for this match.
Two guys who I think are definitely going to be involved in this match are Lars Sullivan and Aleister Black. Lars has been dominating on Smackdown over the past few weeks, so it makes sense to put him in. Since Ricochet is involved, I am guessing that Aleister will also be. They seem like the two safest picks right now.
The final two spots will come down to:
That leaves multiple names who could be involved. That includes Finn Balor, Andrade, Ali, Randy Orton, Buddy Murphy, Chad Gable, Daniel Bryan, Apollo Crews, Rusev, and Shinsuke Nakamura. I am going to eliminate Andrade and Finn, as I think they will be facing off for the Intercontinental Title at the event. Also, I think that Rusev and Nakamura will be wrestling for the Tag Team Titles at the event. As a result, I am going with Orton and Ali as my final two picks. Both seem like the two lead candidates to me based on the names that I have listed.
If I am right, that would leave us with Aleister Black vs Ali vs Baron Corbin vs Braun Strowman vs Drew McIntyre vs Lars Sullivan vs Randy Orton vs Ricochet.
