I wanted to predict who I think will be the Men’s participants in the Money in the Bank ladder match this year. I have picked 8 names (4 from RAW and 4 from Smackdown), just like last year.
8) Drew McIntyre
I think that Drew McIntyre is a lock to participate in this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Since he isn’t going to be in the Universal Championship match at the event, it would make sense to put him here.
Not only is Drew likely going to be participating in the match, but he will also be a top candidate to win the briefcase. McIntyre as Mr. Money in the Bank could be interesting and he is definitely a major threat heading into the match.
I would be shocked if Drew isn’t involved here.
7) Randy Orton
I think that Randy Orton is a pretty safe bet to participate in the Money in the Bank ladder match from the Smackdown side of things.
Looking at the current Smackdown roster, Orton seems like a safe guess. He is one of the top names on the brand and isn’t currently involved in a feud.
Orton has already been in several of these ladder matches and it would make sense to include him again.
6) Baron Corbin
Love him or hate him, Baron Corbin is probably going to be participating in the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match this year.
WWE seems to be all-in on Corbin right now. I think that we are going to be seeing a lot of him still on Monday night’s moving forward.
Based on the amount of television time that Corbin has been receiving as of late, I think that he is a lock for this match.
