Theory On The Plans For Seth Rollins At Money In The Bank

The Superstar Shake-Up is now over and we can start looking towards Seth Rollins’ first feud as Universal Champion. A safe guess is that Seth will be defending the Universal Championship at the Money in the Bank PPV.

So who will Seth be defending against at the event?

I have a theory that I wanted to pass your way about what I think will happen with Seth at the PPV. This is something that is a bit out-of-the-box but could make sense.

My theory is that Seth will start a feud with Andrade. This might sound a bit crazy at first glance but hear me out.

Andrade defeated Finn Balor on RAW this week. Now that Finn has switched over to Smackdown Live, Andrade is left without a feud. In my opinion, WWE wouldn’t have had Balor pinned unless they were building towards something for Andrade. Maybe they are going to slowly build up Andrade over the next few weeks for a feud with Seth and the Universal Title?

To me, this would be a perfect feud for Seth right now. The heel-babyface dynamic works and it would be a fresh match-up for fans. I don’t think that we need to see another Drew McIntyre vs Seth match at the moment. Instead, I think that WWE should shake things up and give us Andrade vs Seth for the Universal Title.

My guess is that Seth and Andrade would put on an awesome match against one another. I don’t have Andrade winning but this will still be a great thing for him. This will help showcase that Andrade is going to be a major player on the red brand over the next year.

Fans get a fun and fresh match. Andrade gets the rub of working with someone like Seth. Plus, Seth gets to keep his Universal Title reign going. Seems like a win-win for everyone involved.
