The Undertaker made a surprise appearance on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. The Deadman interrupted Elias’ song and ended up delivering a tombstone to close the segment.
The Undertaker’s appearance came as a big surprise since he wasn’t used on Wrestlemania for the first time since 2000.
So why did the Undertaker appear on RAW?
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, the Undertaker’s appearance on RAW was to set-up a future match with Elias.
It appears as if that match will take place at the next WWE event in Saudi Arabia. It was reported a few weeks ago that the Deadman was confirmed for the next Saudi Arabia show, which will now be taking place in June.
