It was reported recently that WWE was scheduled to return to Saudi Arabia for two PPV events in 2019. The first event was planned to take place on May 3rd, the other was planned for November 1st.
WWE has made some changes to the PPV schedule in 2019.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), the Saudi Arabia PPV won’t be happening on May 3rd anymore.
Meltzer says that the May 3rd event has now moved to June 7th. This will be a few weeks after Money in the Bank, which takes place on May 19th this year.
It is worth noting that there was no mention of the November 1st event in Saudi Arabia being moved, so it looks like that one is still on. Also, there is now an NXT Takeover event scheduled for June 8th in San Jose, which would be the night after this new Saudi Arabia date.
We will let you know if we hear anything more.
