An idea that I had was John Cena returning on next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. Cena would interrupt Baron Corbin and would challenge him to a match.
The idea behind this would be Corbin didn’t have to earn his match at Wrestlemania 35 against Angle. As a result, Cena could challenge Corbin for his spot on the card.
In this scenario, Corbin vs Cena would be the main event of the episode. This could be a way to add some extra excitement to the go-home show prior to Wrestlemania.
Cena would go on to defeat Corbin, setting up Angle vs Cena at Wrestlemania 35.
4) Stephanie McMahon Steps In And Changes The Match
Stephanie McMahon and Triple H seem to me like they are slowly turning babyface. I have a feeling that Stephanie and Triple H will be full-blown babyfaces in a few months time.
As a result, I could see Stephanie McMahon stepping in and saying that she wants the best and biggest matches on the Wrestlemania card. Corbin vs Angle has now been changed to Angle vs Cena.
In this sense, she would be doing the exact opposite of Vince McMahon and giving fans what they want. Could be a simple way to set it up.
