We are getting closer-and-closer to Wrestlemania 35. The event will be taking place in less than two months. WWE has already confirmed the Universal and RAW Women’s Championship matches at the event.
We have some rumors to pass your way about some part-timers that could end up on the Wrestlemania 35 card.
This comes via Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here).
— Meltzer says that as of a few days ago, there was talk about the Undertaker now having a match at Wrestlemania 35. The previous rumor was that the Deadman would not be involved at the event.
— There has also been talk about a potential retirement match at Wrestlemania 35 involving Kurt Angle.
— Meltzer says that John Cena is still confirmed to be on the card but there is no opponent finalized as of yet.
Batista appearing on the card is also possible. A report recently suggested that he was in talks with WWE for a return match at the event.
My Take: Looks like it could be a card stacked with part-time talent this year. That would force a ton of talented people off the card at the event, which would be a bummer.
